Film Wedding Photography
Wedding photography on 35mm + instant film throughout Boston, Rhode Island, and New England.
Film has been part of how we photograph weddings for years, not as a separate package or an occasional add-on, but as another camera we reach for throughout the day. We shoot 35mm alongside digital and bring instant film along too, choosing between them based on the moment, the light, and what we think each format will bring to the photograph.
We shoot our film on vintage cameras and develop every roll by hand in our home. There’s more time and intention involved in the process, and that’s exactly what keeps us coming back to it. We don’t try to make our digital photographs look like film or our film photographs look perfect, we like having both in the same wedding gallery, each doing what it does best.
Developed by Hand
Our 35mm photographs are made on vintage film cameras, and every roll is developed by hand before being scanned and added to your final gallery. Keeping the process in-house means we’re involved from the moment the film goes into the camera to the moment the finished photographs are delivered. It’s slower and more hands-on, but that’s part of why we still love shooting film.
