Newport Vineyards Wedding on 35mm Film

Hope and Mandy were married at Newport Vineyards in Middletown, Rhode Island, surrounded by acres of lush grapevines and their closest friends and family.

We photographed their day with our usual mix of digital and 35mm film, and we loved how their photos looked straight out of a 1990s family photo album. Unposed, chaotic, warm, joyful. They’re a great example of how we use film: rather than try to make everything look perfrect, we lean into the unpredictable way film captures a wedding as it happens. The result is nostalgic, honest, and full of life.
